| Description: | Ribbon Mixer Gems Engineering Works is a leading manufacturer of Ribbon Mixer/ Blenders for dry powder blending in the process industries. Many products including pharmaceuticals, foods, chemicals, fertilizers, plastics, pigments, and cosmetics are manufactured in our Ribbon Blenders and Mixers. Ribbon blender is suitable for handling large dry and wet powder volume. It consists of a horizontal ''U'' tough with horizontally installed mixing shaft. Technical Features This is specially designed to mix all the liquid and solid raw materials for complete mixing. As shown in the drawing inner and outer ribbons are in opposite directions to achieve continuous movement of the material along the axis and in both directions Top cover are provided with solid and liquid raw material opening. Discharge of material is through pneumatically operated bottom flap Batch charging automation is achieved by mounting the blender on a load cell platform connected to all individual raw material feeders to control feed rate. Specially designed air spray nozzles are provided at the top to achieve uniform spraying of liquid raw materials Generally batch time is taken as 15 to 20 minutes including charging and discharging of raw materials Features: Designed for atmospheric operations. If dictated by process conditions, highly polished internal surfaces can be provided. Provision for measuring of product temperature can be provided, if required. Beaching mounting on-outside of mixing container to avoid contamination. Dust-proof model. Teflon braided packing. Single speed drive. Capacity Ranges: from 50 Liters to 15000 Liters.
